Our Story

The establishment of the Sinar Indonesia Display GmbH (SID) stemmed from the interest and positive reaction of local Indonesians and foreigners to the bazaar organized by Verein Indonesia Schweiz (Swiss Indonesian Association). -SID founder Ersalina Soean Schmidlin, who until now as VIS President with her husband Eric Schmidlin, have been actively promoting Indonesian products since joining the association in 1996.
